health professionals

Health professionals work in a highly litigious environment and it is extremely likely if you work in this area that you will be called to court to give evidence in relation to something you witnessed, a report you wrote, your notes, an action you took or failed to take, the actions of a colleague, patient and in many other different scenarios.

As there are so many different areas that you might need training in, we think it is really important that we consult with you before we design your course. This will mean that the training we deliver will cover the topics and issues that are of most concern to you.

As standard on our courses we bring you up to date decisions from the Court highlighting what the Courts have to say about work practises, witness evidence, medical documentation: notes & reports etc. We will show you how legal principles apply in practice to your work. We explain what the Courts will expect of you as a Medical professional and what you can do to meet those expectations.

As part of the training we will also dispel myths that "do the rounds" about what happens in Court.
