Recently I received a summons to give evidence as an expert witness at an inquest.  While I have extensive experience in delivering technical information to various forums, to date I had no exposure to  a courtroom setting.  In preparation for the inquest I undertook expert witness training from Rioghnach.  At very short notice Rioghnach met with me and went through, in detail, what I might expect at the inquest.  Very importantly she advised me how to deliver my expert evidence with confidence in clear and concise manner while addressing the requirements of the inquest. I have no doubt that the training I received resulted in my effective delivery of evidence as an expert in the area under investigation.
