regulatory enforcement officers

Local Authorities, the Health & Safety Authority, Comreg, the EPA, Environmental Health Officers, the Food Safety Authority, the Revenue Commissioners, the Sea Fisheries Protection Authority, the Commission for Taxi regulation, are just a few examples of regulatory bodies and agencies tasked with law enforcement.

Unfortunately, it is often the case those responsible for enforcement have no legal training or background. This can leave them in a very weak position when it comes to carrying out full and proper investigations that will stand up to legal scrutiny. Enforcement Officers will benefit hugely from the high quality, practical training Court Success has to offer.

Enforcement Officers are expected to know

• The legislation they enforce
• Their powers & duties
• The offences they are required to investigate and prosecute
• How to carry out a full and proper investigation
• How to give clear evidence in Court
• How to write reports
• How to write and take statements
• How to deal with witnesses
• How to deal with suspects

Our courses are designed to teach all of the above and more.
